The Sculptra Difference

Sculptra® Aesthetic can turn back time, making your face look and feel younger.

In this modern age, treatments offer anti-aging results! When facial aging occurs, it is because our body’s collagen naturally decreases when we get older. What Sculptra® Aesthetic does is helps to replace collagen that has been lost, resulting in noticeably smoother and younger looking skin.

Sculptra® Aesthetic treatments involve a facial injection that will give your face a softer, more subtle, and younger looking appearance. Three treatments are generally needed to produce results that improve gradually and can last for as long as two years*.

How Sculptra® Aesthetic works: The skin is made up of two layers. Sculptra®Aesthetic targets the deep dermis, which is the layer between the epidermis and subcutaneous tissues, and reinforces it to replace the lost collagen. This helps to build a stronger foundation for your skin that, after a few sessions, brings back the fullness of the wrinkles and folds in your face. It is an anti-aging effect.

Most treatments give immediate results with effects that do not last very long before the next treatment is needed. These immediate results can have an unnatural look. The difference between these and Sculptra® Aesthetic is that these treatments are done gradually and the result is subtle and more natural, even longer lasting.

Sculptra® Aesthetic is made from a synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid. This material is naturally absorbed by the body as it works to replace missing collagen. Poly-L-lactic acid is biocompatible and biodegradable, and has been used for decades in dissolvable sutures and as a facial treatment via injections since 1999, in over 30 countries.
